PYCI – Objectives

Organization’s purpose, priority programs, and the practical actions to serve the Porwal Jain community.

Welfare & Relief

Provide medical relief, emergency aid and mediclaim support to needy families.
Provide monthly pensions for widows, elderly and households with no earning member.
Provide pensions or aid to physically and mentally differently-abled community members.
Organize blood donation camps (annual / Mahavir Jayanti) at each chapter.
Facilitate donations on personal occasions (anniversaries, birthdays).
Include chapter-level welfare activities under the registered charitable trust for coordinated delivery.

Provide scholarships for meritorious students from economically weaker families.
Organize career counselling, motivational seminars and mentoring programs.
Provide interest-free or low-interest education loans to deserving students based on merit.
Assist students and families to access government educational schemes and support.

Organize regular medical camps, health checkups and preventive screenings for communities.
Conduct yoga camps, fitness programs and family health initiatives.
Promote nutrition awareness and access to organic food programs.
Undertake tree plantation and environmental programs for local oxygen/green cover.

Provide small business loans at low interest (with suitable security) for eligible members to start micro enterprises.
Create a member platform for short-term financial assistance among members (peer lending for projects).
Develop group investment & business projects that generate fair returns and create local employment (partner projects such as event/banquet halls, group ventures).
Facilitate job connections and placements for qualified but unemployed youth, including women, across the community.
Encourage members to support each other professionally (CAs, doctors, lawyers, engineers) to boost member businesses.

Organize religious classes, group Samayik and spiritual awareness programs to deepen understanding of Jain principles.
Promote religious unity beyond sectarian lines and create forums for inter-sect dialogue.
Arrange visits and interactions with sadhus & sadhvis, and provide necessary hospitality, safety and medical care during their stays.
Preserve and promote the Porwal Jain cultural heritage through events, education and public programs.

Encourage teaching children to follow positive cultural practices and social values.
Create and maintain a database of eligible bachelors/bachelorettes to help matrimonial needs of the community.
Publicly honour outstanding talent and achievers from the community on regular occasions.
Maintain a strictly non-apolitical stance – members wishing to contest community elections must resign from organizational positions; the organization will not endorse any candidate.
Send condolence messages on member bereavements and coordinate collective memorial gestures and gifts at social functions.

Porwal Youth Charitable Trust has been formed to carry out PYCI’s service work. PYCI members can become trust members by completing a membership form.
Separate donor accounts maintained for transparency; top donors and outstanding volunteers are recognized annually at the PYCI function.
Professionals (doctors, lawyers, accountants, engineers) who provide free services to the trust will be acknowledged and honored.
All chapter activities and welfare projects are documented and integrated under the trust’s programs for coordinated impact.

Organize two domestic or international trips (religious/recreational) per year and an annual function.
Chapters to hold festival gatherings (Holi, Diwali), one annual picnic, and short local tours.
Encourage regular member interaction to build a strong support network and mutual help culture.

Maintain monthly CA audits and share monthly/annual accounts with members.
Operate digital banking for transparent income and expenditure tracking.
Present project proposals and plans to experienced advisors in Jaipur, Sawai Madhopur and Kota for guidance and deployment.

Become a Member – complete the membership form to join a chapter.
Donate – contribute to the trust’s welfare funds (80G benefits available).
Volunteer – offer time, skills or professional services for community programs.
Partner – propose local projects or chapters and help implement them.
